Courses

Over the course of the year in Orangefield we run a range of courses.  Alpha runs twice a year either on a Sunday evening or Tuesday evening in ARC cafe.  We run the Alpha follow up course “A Life Worth Living” over the course of six weeks one evening a week.  We also have a series called Equip which looks at equipping us to be better disciples, this either runs as a one day conference or as Equip Bitesize – an evening mini conference.

In addition we run the SHAPE course and Marriage course at various points as the need arises.

Listed below are some of the course that we have run recently.

Equip 2016 – This Time it’s Personal

On May 21st we will hold “Equip – This Time it’s Personal” – a conference which will explore Personal Ministry. Come along from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm to hear Ben Walker, our keynote speaker, then take part in break out seminars. The conference will be followed by a BBQ lunch. Frontline Fruitfulness

Tomorrow morning we start a series from LICC called Fruitfulness on the Frontline. This is potentially life changing and church culture changing. It really is IF we all take the teaching on board. Join us for ‘The Big Picture’. Don’t miss it!

Shape Course April 2016

The SHAPE course will run on three Monday evenings, 4th, 11th and 18th of April at 7.30pm. If you are thinking seriously about what God has planned for your life, or think He may be steering you in a different direction, then this short course might help. “Here is Love” – Exploring the cries from the cross

Here is love is an new video series from Orangefield starting on the 19th of March.  In the seven days leading up to Good Friday we are going to release one video per day.

Each video will look at one of the “Cries from the Cross”, these were the 7 phrases uttered by Jesus during his 6 hour crucifixion.

In the videos some elders from Orangefield share their thoughts about what Jesus said, thinking specifically about how they reveal his character (human and divine) and what they mean to us today.

Equip Bitesize 2016 – Walking into Church

Advent Quiet Hours

Starting on the 2nd of December at 7.30pm please join us for the Advent Quiet Hours. We will meet every Wednesday up to Christmas to sit in God’s presence in stillness and contemplate the wonder of Immanuel – God with Us. Please come along during the busyness of the Christmas season and take time out to contemplate the ultimate expression of love.
