Here is the prayer diary for the next few months, in it you will find information about people and groups to pray for over the months.

“Here is Love” – Exploring the cries from the cross

Here is love is an new video series from Orangefield starting on the 19th of March.  In the seven days leading up to Good Friday we are going to release one video per day.

Each video will look at one of the “Cries from the Cross”, these were the 7 phrases uttered by Jesus during his 6 hour crucifixion.

In the videos some elders from Orangefield share their thoughts about what Jesus said, thinking specifically about how they reveal his character (human and divine) and what they mean to us today.

Episode 1:  “Father, forgive them”

In this video, the first in our series “Here is Love” Craig Blair looks at the first cry – “Father, forgive them”. This can be found in Luke ch 23 v 34.

Prayer Opportunities at Orangefield

As part of our prayer strategy we have established Wednesday as our day of prayer.  We believe that prayer changes things and our hope is that this will help to being spiritual breakthrough.  There are a number of ways in which to get involved in the prayer life of the church.  The Prayer Meeting takes place in Room 1 at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month.  On the second Wednesday we are starting Prayer Watch a full day of prayer from 9am to 5pm broken down into one hour slots.  Quiet Hour is in the church at 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month.  The Gathering takes place in ARC on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm.
