On Sunday mornings our whole church family get TOGETHER to worship God.
What’s on this Sunday – 25th February
Linda Stothers, PW Overseas Vice President
Communion – 1 Corinthians: 11: 17 – 3
Rev Gary Ball
Where do I start?
If you’re new here and feel at home, great! However, most of us feel a little lost in a new place. So, if you need to know anything, please chat with any of the Welcome Team you met on the way in, or someone friendly you meet inside.
What about children?
We have excellent facilities for infants. Please feel free to settle your child (0 – 3 years) into Creche before worship starts. Otherwise we love to worship together as a church family (aged 4 to 101), for the first half hour.
After half an hour, Pre-school to year 6 go to SALT (Sharing And Learning Together). Yr 7 to yr 10 go to LIGHT (Learning In God’s House Together)
Teenagers from Yr 11 and adults stay for teaching and worship. So there’s something for everyone.
How do I fit in?
Family worship is big. It’s not the easiest place to make friends. The Welcome Team would be delighted to introduce you to similar people from your neighbourhood. For information about organisations, home groups (mini churches) and courses, you can speak to our Welcome Team or if you prefer you can find information in the Resource Area opposite ARC café after the service.
Does that mean everyone?
Our building is very accessible. Also, if you or a family member have a disability or a special need please let us know what we can do and we will be very pleased to help.
What do you do to worship?
- We pray to God for our community, our families, and the wider world.
- We sing to express our worship to God
- We hear God’s word and how it applies to us today
- We give money to run the church and help others
- We serve in the church, our community and work.
If you are a visitor, please don’t feel obliged to give money during the offering however if you wish to contribute to the upkeep of our staff, our building and our work then we would appreciate it.
