Orangefield Presbyterian Church

Help During Coronavirus

Things are difficult at the moment. Isolation is hard and we’re all struggling with the separation from our families and friends.
Orangefield is still here to help.

If you need help with groceries or picking up prescriptions, or need someone to talk to, just contact our church office by telephoning 028 9079 9391 or emailing

You don’t need to be a member of Orangefield, all are welcome to get in touch.

Prayer Ministry

We welcome you to send us your Prayer Ministry requests via our Prayer Ministry form.
Your requests are treated carefully, and in full confidence, by our trained teams who will pray over your requests for yourself or those you know at this challenging time.

Online Connection

We can’t meet in person so we’re doing things online. We care and would love you to connect with what we’re doing as we continue to support and minister to our church family and local community in a virtual way.

Our Services are Live on YouTube on Sunday at 10:30am - watch here

Dear friends.

We are a people of FAITH – We are a people of HOPE – We are a people of LOVE

Whilst these are uncertain times, they are also times of unparalleled opportunity to show our neighbours and our city the love of Jesus.  In the days ahead we choose faith over fear, wisdom over worry and prayer over panic and let us join with God’s people down through the years in putting our trust in the One who can do immeasurably more than all we can ever ask or imagine.

Given the current Coronavirus emergency, advice from government and the directive from the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, sadly we must inform you that all Orangefield congregational organisations and activities, including Sunday worship, have been suspended until further notice.

However, we continue to be the church and we will continue to do church although it will look a little different.  We are therefore encouraging members of the church family to find new (and perhaps ancient) ways to worship, to communicate with one another and to love and care for each another, and our neighbours, in the days and weeks ahead.

Each Sunday we will be streaming our worship service live on YouTube at 10:30am (Praise, prayer and teaching).  We can’t meet together in the building but on Sunday we encourage you to worship with us using your Smart TV, Tablet, Computer or phone.  At 10:25am, click the below link, (or copy it into your Internet browser) and wait for the service to begin at 10:30am.

Our church staff are just an email away and you can click here to contact us.

We want you to be safe.  But we also want you to be an embodiment of God’s love in the community where you live.  Please be mindful of elderly and vulnerable people on your street, phoning them, offering to pray or collect groceries and prescriptions for them.

Stay connected through our social media platforms.  Ask for help if you need it.  Release hope in every environment you are in.

May you be aware of the grace and peace of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with you today and every day.

Your ministers and friends in Christ,

Gareth and Gary.
